Insurance Requirements

 

A certificate of insurance is required for your event. You can obtain a certificate through your Homeowner’s insurance company or by contacting one of the insurance agents listed below.


The Licensee, at its expense, shall provide commercial general liability insurance in the combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 including, personal injury, naming Mansfield Township Fire Company No.1 as an additional insured.

At least 30 days prior to the event, the Licensee must mail the certificate from an insurer satisfactory to the fire house naming the fire house as an additional insured in connection with the Licensee’s use of the Property. The certificate should reflect that the policy cannot be canceled without prior written notice of at least 15 days from the insurance company to the Licensee and to the fire house. Said insurance must remain in effect for the event.

The Licensee’s commercial general liability insurance shall be stipulated as primary insurance without the right of contribution from the fire house.
